    DeLane Development Group Rimfire Ventures

Ill be able to pretty much mimick everything but barrel / muzzle brake with my match setup. Im running a 26" Northland Varmit Profile w/ Hellfire in my current KRG Bravo. Balance is perfect. Trick is going shorter to know how much weight is needed. I I know being closer to the center will...

    DeLane Development Group Rimfire Ventures

Thanks for input. I see Atlas offers a 22" MTU but think 20" is probably my best bet.

    DeLane Development Group Rimfire Ventures

Decided I need to dip into the toy fund to buy a Vudoo. It will end up in a KRG bravo to match my PRS rig. Im thinking 20" MTU is the best option for balance? Anyone have any insight?

Wanting to buy another bolt action for 100yd paper punching.

My thoughts exactly. I could hit an egg at 1k but couldn't tell you how many shots it would take haha.

Different types of hunting rifle setups? Tell me about yours!

Im running a Tikka T3X CTR 20" Stainless in 6.5CM with a Nightforce SHV 3-10 and Seekins Low Rings. Comes in ~9lb. Easily Sub MOA (3/4 or less on memory) with Hornady Precision Hunter.

22 Rimfire Precision - Ruger, CZ, Bergara, Voodoo, Other / Why?

The biggest draw for me is local (45 min) NRL22 matches and being able to train at my local 200 yard range whenever I want. Seems like a great training aid to supplement centerfire matches and the few times a year I get up to my families farm in VT to shoot out to 1k.

22 Rimfire Precision - Ruger, CZ, Bergara, Voodoo, Other / Why?

Its funny because its true haha. I have had a T1X for about a week as my first venture into .22lr and Im already lusting for a Vudoo. Thankfully the "fvck me 💰"price tag has kept me in check. That and the fact a Vudoo barreled action would cost more than my current origin centerfire build.

Rifle Scopes How much more to remove the cheap?

This is the way. ;) Seriously though its not always about money. Some people just don't put value in quality glass. I helped a buddy sight in a new moose rifle last year. It was a browning hells canyon which are ~1k range. The optic he bought....vortex crossfire II 3-9. Not only did he over...

    Best Rimfire Scope $300

I just picked up a Argos BTR Gen 2 6-24 for my T1X. Has the magnification (24x) and Parallax (10yd) you want but glass quality is meh. However for your $300 price point you are in "meh" glass quality no matter what you pick.

    Tikka T1X

Just finished getting my T1X all setup last night. Quick question for your T1X owners. Did you notice an increase in accuracy over a certain round count? Essentially just curious how many rounds I should plan to put through the rifle before moving onto match ammo. I have some Federal Automatch I...

    Durable Scope

I wonder if camerland still has the bushnell lrts 3-12s? Those were like 650 and are a steal at that price. Great glass, tracks and nice reticle. @gr8fuldoug

New to LR shooting, looking for scope recommendation

Easy answer would be vortex in mil. However I do love my Bushnell DMR 2 PRO that I got on a GAP deal. Hard to beat at the price.

    new action recommendations

It was their 10% off coupon which brought it with insurance to $745.20 shipped. However per KYAggie it looks like its now excluded from their sales (not that they do a lot now anyway given the market haha). I bought this back in March so not sure when/what changed. Now please don't go gettin'...

    Holosun 507 or Trijicon RMR

The type 2 certainly does need to be removed to change batteries. I think this comes down to budget and use. Is the RMR in your budget? 507c's used to be ~250 with even the Type 1 RMRs being ~350 if I remember correctly. Is this for a range gun or self defense? For most civilians you would...

    Bighorn Origin Build Thread

Great looking rifle, I love the pattern! What about your cheek weld? Looks like you would need a pad/riser?

    Reputable Gunsmith/gunshop in Michigan needed

I would really try to steer him to doing it himself. Great learning process and rather than paying a smith to do it he can use that money to buy the tools he gets to keep after. Also I would worry about having eye relief not being correct etc. Is he going to sit there and play with it to get it...

    new action recommendations

I went through something similar last year for my PRS rifle. I am super happy with the build/quality and the price was great. Bighorn Origin - Your looking at $825. I then went to Northland Shooting Supply for the rest of the barreled action parts. This included a Criterion 26"threaded barrel...
