    Try taking the mcd's straw push it all the way till it stops then cut it off . Pull it out a little so that it closes up the opening in the powder hopper rcbs made it to big if you look up one of my recent started posts you will see what im talking about

    i found it easier to take a straw push it all the way in then cut it off at the spout . after thats done you can pull it out a little at a time until u get the desired amount instead off actually cutting a slot in it. doing it this way you can easily tune it for diffrent powders my tuning...

    I know you we're talking about the 230s but the 215s with there short bearing surface is a much better choice for the 300wm 2900 out of 26 with a .695bc shouldn't be to hard

    You can't go long to short but you can go short to long. You have to cut the mag well a little to do it and If you want to use the front action screw with the skins on u will have to drill it
