    I don's see this happening soon. I'm not sure the demand would be there it seams to me the 6.5 Grendel is more about maximizing power + accuracy in the AR platform, I don't see the Accuracy demand being met with an AK platform and the lack of suitable optic options.

    I've got a regular 229 in 357 SIG and the round/gun is very accurate. I've never shot just for group size but it shoots very consistently where I point it. How is the muzzle device attached?

    Sig had the p250 also that offers interchange of barrels, slides and even grips just keeping the "Fire control unit" as the "Gun". 9,40,45,357 sig, but not 22. P250 Full Size Or the Sig 226 that you can start as a 22 and as mentioned get 9/40/357 P226 Classic 22

    When you get a chance to shoot it I'd love to see a review. I'm looking at a few other options including the CZ 455 as mentioned for the reasons above by BM11. I've got plenty of time to seach and I still haven't ruled this out just expanding my search.

    I had my Glock 22 (40) reduced by Bowie Tactical Concepts do mine. It took like 6-8 months but I really don't see a down side. Mine points better for me and I don't feel like I'm fighting with it to keep the muzzle down plus the grip is a little thinner too. Other than the cost and the wait...

    Re: Most accurate .22 pistol for under 1k I would also recommend the Marvel Unit 1 if you like the 1911 and have one with a great trigger. Mine came with a 5 shot 0.78" test target at 50 yards so no question it out shoots me.
