    V3 Auto Trickler issue

    I know of two fellows up here in Canada that have eliminated the Auto throw unit. They replaced it with the Lee manual unit. They drop the bulk of the powder with the Lee unit and then use the auto trickler to complete the charge.

    I was wondering what kind of velocities people are getting from a 24" barrel with 140gr class bullets with the 6.5 Creedmoor round. Accuracy node velocities and max. load velocities are what I'm looking for. Also, what temperature was it when you got your speed results.

    What did you do in the reloading room today?

    A hundred rounds of 6.5x47L. Thirty eight grains of Varget inside Lapua cases with 139gr Lapua Scenars on top and BR4’s to light the fire.

    SS / wet tumbling - media preservative

    They don't need to be dry. I said above that they are ready immediately to use. Wet or dry. As for clean....to each their own. I use Dawn dish soap and Lemi-Shine citric acid. I like to rinse them after use. If you don't...that's ok. And besides....they are supposed to be "stainless" steel...
