    .308win powder choices

Thank you to all who chimed in. I decided to give IMR-4064 a try. And at least part of my decision was because I could actually find it to buy. Man, powder is scarce in these unprecedented times in Canada.

    .308win powder choices

I am in the process of changing out the barrel on my .308win target rifle. My bullet choice is the Berger 185gr Juggernaught. I am leaning towards using Varget. But I would like to know what others are using with the medium heavies (180-190gr class bullets). I have read that some other popular...

    .308 Winchester

Going to re-barrel my target .308win rifle. It will have a Krieger 1:9" 5R finished at 26". I was wondering if anyone has loaded any 200gr class bullets? I am going to try the Berger Hybrid Target 215gr with Lapua brass and CCI BR2 primers. I will also be using Varget. Anyone tried this...

Cool! I've always liked that my Terrapin talks to my Kestrel. Sure saves time manually entering the distances.

    Longshot LR3 target camera system

Interesting. The screen shot above is from a distance of around 40 feet. And, I forgot at the time that the lens has rotational adjustments. In that picture above, it is uncomfortably close to being directly in front of the target. I have since tested it at 300 yards with an approximate offset...

    Longshot LR3 target camera system

I've tested it above at 1500 metres. I will be doing a test in August out to 2600 yards. It will be line of sight there too. You can see even a .223 hit at a kilometer. But add some mirage, and all bets are off.

    Longshot LR3 target camera system

I decided that I needed to supplement my LR vision capabilities with a remote camera system. Enter the Longshot LR3 camera system. I tried it out today for the first time. My intention was to see just how it performed at a mile (1600m). The system consists of two units. The camera and the...

    Rifle Scopes Using Zero Stop

Sounds about right. For me, being old and forgetful, I find zero-stop to be a God-send. When I forget to reset my scope to my zero setting after shooting, the zero-stop really saves my bacon. I just need to turn the turret until it stops. I can be a dumb-a$$.

Best model Atlas Bipod for .338 Lapua Magnum?

I use an LRA F-class for my .338LM. Nice wide footprint. Very tight. Easy to load. And heavy enough for the big rifle. And a low center for good weight and front to back distribution. Easy to pan with the front facing lever. YMMV
