178 ELDX 308, Lapua brass.... Whatcha got?

I am not getting much traction on my question in the 308 thread so I thought I would try here. Does anyone have any load data for this round? I currently have RL22/17/16/15 , Varget, 2000MR, and IMR 4895, but I will get whatever I need. Thanks for the help.

I am having trouble finding established load data for the 178gr ELD-X bullet for my .308 Anyone have a min and max load from Hornady in the 10th edition or elsewhere? I’m using 9th and nothing. I generally use Varget but I wouldn’t mind seeing 4064 as well even though i should get a higher FPS...

I’m running the 178 eldx with 42.1 gr of varget to get 2549 out of a 22.5” tikka 1/11 barrel with lapua brass. Currently in new brass. Next round will be once fired. Loaded to tikka mag length. Es is around 20 with that load. Shoot me a message if you need anymore details.

I tried 43 grains of blc-2 today with the 178gr Eld-m and got 2100 FPS with Lapua brass today. Going to step on the gas and bump it up now. Accuracy was great but not where I want to be yet.

43.3 gr of Varget should do the trick. COAL I use is 2.805, just slightly longer than SAAMI. I get 2650 FPS on average out of a 24" barrel.

If you can’t find a load with 4064 it’s your gun man. Lol. Very forgiving in the 308

It's a shame I won't be shooting this for long. It is a very accurate and consistent load for this rifle. But, I'll be re-barrelling the Coyote in the very near future and moving on to something different. According to iSnipe, this load transitions just under 1200m (a moderate load).
