    Thought I'd back off 1gr from my normal load of N165 for this new Peterson brass. Last minute I decided on 2gr less. Glad I did.     Been loading norma brass in 300winmag but I just picked up 100 pieces of Peterson long. 20 capacity on the fired norma is 95gr. Virgin Peterson is 89.4gr. About how much should I back off my current load to start on the new brass? I was thinking 1gr.

    I've seen data where staball 6.5 is used with the 110-115 bullets. I dont think it does well with bullets under 100gr. I wasn't impressed with staball match in my 6 dasher.

    Why do people load so hot?

    How long are you loading the 178's with varget ? At book length in sig hybrid cases, I could only do about 47gr before it started pushing the bullets back out. My chamber is only jumping .005" at book length with a 178 eldm.
