    Pics show a lot of marks on the brass just below the shoulder indicate the chamber was poorly finished.

    Not AR specific, but the 125 FMJ is pretty popular with M1 Garand shooting matches at 200 yards. Accurate enough with reduced recoil.

    Yeah, it sounds like you made an effort and tried to beat factory. No way will LAX or Freedom be better. Stick with Hornady Match since you have good luck with it. Edit: Whatever happened with the Prime/RUAG debacle?

    F T/R Competition SFP scope for F-class

    If it were a very fine FFP crosshair or dot at 25X, it would be invisible or difficult to see against the black target face at 18X and below when we dial back due to the mirage moving heavily or boils....Cuz we're old and can't see.

    SWFA has good "basic" scopes for reasonable prices. Used can be found here, arfcom, eBay, etc. https://swfa.com/scopes/swfa-ss/ Used Vortex Viper PST Gen 1 or Gen 2 would provide you with another slightly better scope choice.

    Yeah, maybe their engineers learned that from Remington's lawyers in the 1980's.....Regardless, most (of course not all) modern projectiles as mentioned above are quite jump tolerant.
