    On all of my extended bases I cut off the front ends as well, but it’s so I can remove the barrel nut without removing the base. And, depending on the scope, it does help to clear the objective as well! It just makes life easier for me!! DK

    All companies have flaws in their optics once in a while… ALL of them. There are no exceptions that I am aware of. However, the warranty issue was taken care of immediately, and Arken has a happy customer! That is a big win!! DK
