    Is my Mausingfield ever going to "break in"?

    That‘s my usual method also. I’ve done stock Remingtons without masking and you can tell that the clearances tighten up. For the poster, I would suspect you have a thick edge or spot in the extractor grove at the rear of the action that the claw is binding on.

    That’s interesting. I have a customer that’s sending me a Mausingfield extractor to Cerakote to get the TiNi look. Mixing up a custom color didn’t take too long and it’s a pretty good match.

    They are a nice rifle. I used to have a Jeff Cooper edition in .308 and still have one in .376, I’ve not owned one in 6.5 or any other calibers. The built in bipod is an interesting idea but it’s not as robust as a standalone model.

    In need of a new range finder

    I’m close to pulling the trigger on one of the new Sig Kilo 5K’s. Haven’t found any good on-hands informations about them. Looking for a good rangefinder that can range steel out to 1500yds and pair with the Garmin Tactix Delta AB. May order one tomorro, if I do, I’ll, post my results.

    Spotters Hensholdt 45 vs. 60

    I’ve had the Spotter 45 for a while now and can’t really imagine where the 60 would be better for spotting hits on paper (holes far away). Eye relief/eye box is better on the 45 also.

    Do you have a stencil cutter with software? I usually mock it up on the computer to see what different colors look like in the pattern. It’s a little tougher to do with color fades. I’ve done some non-traditional colors with digital camo and Damascus but not multicam.

    Pushing this back up to the top. Anybody have hands on experience with the 5K yet now that they are on the street? I’m interested to know how good the ranging is and how good the connectivity to the Garmin Tactix Delta is.
