    Spray Painting Rifles

I’ll be starting work on a Tikka stock as soon as I can get some time. Planning to do a Basic colour scheme and pattern. That looks brilliant, well done. what was the base colour of the stock for that paint job? I have a dark grey Tikka stock im planning to paint up at some point. Also, did...

Tikka CTR vs CZ 557 vs Steyr SSG 69

For all the reasons mentioned above, Tikka. CTR is a highly adaptable comp rifle for PRS, straight out of the box will perform and the array of available after market components make the difference. I have 2 Tikkas (albeit varmints) and they just work. The CTR, in its factory stock is also a...

    Howa 1500 builds **post them**

That set looks brilliant. KRG Bravo is on my Howa. Could you tell us what sort of Magazines they are?

223 for FTR - Win 70 or Savage 12 FTR

@TreeGuy201 I shoot .223 out to 600m frequently from a factory Tikka T3x and you will be shocked at what a factory rifle can do with skill and good ammunition. Shoot it, learn it and enjoy it. You won’t regret the calibre choice.

Advanced Marksmanship Things you want to improve in 2020

Get out hunting and shoot more precision service rifle and practice more PSR shooting. F-class has been fun but time to try something else and properly get into PSR.

    30-06 any love anymore?

I Don’t see how you couldn’t get a 30-06 shooting really well. The quality of reloading components, reloading information, modern actions, barrels, high quality stocks and bedding techniques and other ancillary gear (quality scopes, bipods, etc) means an amazingly well shooting 30-06 is entirely...

500 yard and 700 yard groups

    Pick two calibers

I’m going to go with .223AI and .260 Two very efficient calibres for what they can do and both are highly versatile in terms of they can do and cheap’ish to run compared to similarly capable calibers.

    Pick two calibers

That’s what I will have in a couple of months. Two awesome calibers for just about any situation.

    Howa 1500 builds **post them**

Hey everyone, I’m a fully confirmed Tikka shooter but just I’ve just picked myself up a Howa 1500 .308 Varmint Barrelled action Which seems to be in great condition. I’m very tempted to use this a switch barrel set-up with barrel for a couple different calibers that use the .308 bolt face...

Ultimatum Precision's upcoming Tikka footprint action

The only bad thing about a Tikka, from the factory out of the box, is the stock. If they did a run of Barrelled actions and signalled to industry to be easy with stocks etc, they would sell like crazy. I would pay $900 (AUD) for Tikka barrelled action and spend accordingly on an awesome...

    Spray Painting Rifles

These all look brilliant. Seriously great effects. My question is has anyone experienced paint running off due to contact with sweat and other moisture? I would consider doing this for my PSR rifle (using my original Tikka stack as a practice). Do you use an under coat of some kind first...

400 yards max, what would you do?

How well do you/will you know your neighbours? If they are decent and open minded people you still manage the use of centrefire up to maybe .308 with reasonable precautions and providing neighbours with advance warning and seeking their approval. Have you considered .204, 20 Tactical, 17...

Magpul Bi-pod’s ...Good, bad or other??

Hi everyone, was looking at Magpul bipods and was curious to know if anyone had experience with them in a PRS comp setting? Was thinking about grabbing one as a cheaper alternative to an atlas bipod. Are they reliable and sturdy or are they rubbish? I would be using on the bottom of a KRG W-3...

    Swedish M41B sniper rifle

Simmo Haya used an M28 if I’m not mistaken, the M39 hadn’t developed sufficiently or been available in sufficient numbers when the winter war broke out. The M39 was manufactured in sufficient numbers to be used in the continuation war a bit later. The scoped M39s were manufactured in very...
