    I also recently decided to 'move up' from my standard SWFA 12X fixed scopes to the Athlon Midas TAC scopes. 6-24x50 on my 223 Rem and 6.5 Grendel, 5-25x56 on the 260 Rem, 284 Win, and 300 PRC. That's still less than one ZCO scope. I guess I'm still an optics cheap skate. :)

    Ok, just noticed this is a 224 Valkyrie question. That explains how it could mag feed with an ELDM 88. I was thinking 5.56/223. My 223 seats ELDM 75s at 2.40" and ELDM 88s at 2.51".

    Some simple math.... If the scope is capable of 125 MOA dialed elevation let's assume 62.5 up and 62.5 down. Add a 20 MOA rail and it has 82.5 up and 42.5 down. That gives you the 77 MOA up you need without even considering reticle hold over.
