    Ballistic AE vs AB

    If you know the distance you can put exact distance in Ballistic AE. You put the target distance as maximum distance and the target distance as range increment and it gives you the exact dope for the distance.

    ES Tactical can sell you a button rifled barrel for $675 in hunter contour now. $88 for a mag and $335 for a bolt for a total of $1100 for a conversion.

    Only thing I wish is that I had a 22 rimfire barrel for the DT. I’m still in the honeymoon stage but I just can’t afford piles of high end gear. I sold 3 rifles and 4 scopes to get mine. I have 2 barrels and would really like to get a 300 WM hunting profile barrel for the system for hunting.

    In general, the way it is set up now, will be a sharp angle rather than broadside. I guess I should say the other set up would have the wind 75-105 degree? I would love to do both but the price of steel, and we’re building a shooting platform and storage at the range so I can’t afford both...

    I only shot 8 rounds of 223 so far (10 total but 2 were by some kids wanting to shoot my rifle). Federal Gold Medal Berger 73 BT Target This next one is just 3 rounds but you can see where the two kids hit nearby. I can’t wait to get out a little more and try more ammo.

    Since I've never messed with an Atlas bipod, it is pretty hard to understand what the advantage of this new bipod will be over the Cal besides being more expensive. I like the Cal's wider footprint than the PSR. I like the no pan feature of the Cal. I dang sure like the less expensive price...
