Why put a red dot on 1-8x

Opinion time, Some Market Research
My preference: 1: 34mm 2: 30mm 1.5” for compatibility with military standard night vision and thermal clip ons. 0 MOA cant for the same reason I know that’s not a huge market- Evolution 9
