    I have messages and emails out to a few smiths about it. Building it the way you are should result in a lighter gun than with the sleeve needed for the switch barrel conversion. I'd like to just be able to change the barrels and stick with the "M" idea if the gun but we'll see. Not sure on total...

    When I tried to check options on the FA site for the Kreiger it wouldn't allow me to select a finish or put it in the cart. Might give them a call after looking a little more. Is $600 normal for a Krieger AR/DPMS style barrel?

    Son of a... I was supposed to have my first suppressor form submitted through e file tomorrow. My luck has been shit lately so I'm not surprised. I hope things change but I don't see it happening soon either. Maybe someone will surprise us with some new info but damn sure not holding my breath

    Gunsmithing Getting started in gunsmithing

    Posting to keep track of this one. I've worked off and on lately with a few gunsmiths. Repair, restore and Cerakote type work and I've learned a lot but wouldn't mind getting more into the actual machining and building side like truing, chambering, threading and finishing.
