    Yeah as was said the bolt stop isn't on the bolt body. AFAIK, that was the change to the Gen. 2, different bolt stop/release from like a knurled knob to a lever. To expand on Origin or Nuke, buy the one available. Being able to change bolt heads and calibers is nice.

    Origin or Nucleus, but don't exclude the 40 page thread on the new ARC action Coup De Grace for $900. The options for Savage prefit seem to be greater than Remage IMO. I know there's options but by and large it looks like the Savage thread pattern won.

    When you removed the weights from the buffer, did you give it more gas or left it the same? If the AGB is adjusted wide open and it still doesn't work, the port is too small, or you've got a leak. Let's assume no leak. Your velocities are 200 fps lower with Varget and 8208 so less pressure...

    Last Saturday I shot all prone at 400-ish. I did have my scope dialed up somewhat near 20x. I think my trigger press is alright. I'm starting to think it's the cheek pressure too. But it kind of goes against the whole you should be able to fall asleep on the rifle.
