Salvation Army Doubles Down on Promoting Social Justice, Backs Soros-ANTIFA ‘Bail Project’ Front.

This gave me some context for a radio add I heard last night on the way to work……Salvation Army CEO saying they do not get involved in political or social agendas. He says they are a purely Christian organization with the sole goal of helping people in need. I thought it was odd, as I’ve never...

Have several knives from Steve. Love em all. He competed back in the early days of precision rifle matches. Terry, did you meet him at a match? Doc

Frank, he probably doesn’t realize you are the “world’s most successful Bigfoot hunter” or you would already be best buds. Doc

2021 Accuracy International Virtual SHOT Show coming soon!

I can’t recall it specifically addressed in any of the interviews/videos......I assume the NV bridge height with an AI pic rail section attached will align level and parallel with the action rail.....but is that with the high or low action rail? Doc

PRS Talk 2012 PRS Finale Video

Those were indeed the “good old days”. Fun matches, great people, good whiskey. Some fun times on that net.....even after the match. And the O Course....hated that thing. Stan The Man made an appearance in there. RIP brother. We miss you. Doc

How do you carry your long range rifle?

The TAB Biathlon sling works well with heavy rifles if you also don’t have to carry a heavy ruck. It is comfortable with heavy rifles, holds it close, and can be used as a shooting sling as well. I used it for the Rifles Only high angle class years ago and it did quite well....including climbing...

Rain/snow protection for rifle while strapped to pack

For really nasty weather while hiking in, I use the TAB rifle covers. They are well made and have held up well. Used one combined with his biathlon sling for Utah high angle class. Worked great. Doc

Any iron sight shooters? Need sight black?

Still have my original Ray Vin smoker. I remember the first across the course match I shot using that instead of that cursed spray black. Never looked back. Doc

Suppressors Are Muzzle Brakes *actually* better than other devices inside a suppressor?

I certainly noticed the “sacrificial baffle” effects of a brake when running the AAC M4-2000 with its break on my old 9.25” work carbine. That gun would see 500 round range days pretty often when we were teaching carbine and active shooter classes. The wear that the brake sustained was pretty...

Use of PVS-27 on XM-3 rifle?

I run a PVS30 on an XM type rifle and it remains about as handy as you can expect. Personally, I prefer the size of the 30 versus the 27 for a smaller, lighter rifle like that.

    Gunsmithing Crescent customs updates?

Love him like a brother, and he does great work, but if you want it fast you may be a little disappointed. Of course, I’ve never told him “I need this done Yesterday”, so I don’t complain. These days, I have more rifles than I can shoot, and dont shoot as many matches as I used to so STAT...

Terry Cross Still accept custom stock orders?

Terry is as fine as they come, but he is a small shop and has a very high work load with LE jobs. I‘ve known him a long time, and he is one of the few in the industry I am confident will not F anyone over. stay patient and keep trying. Love the Sentinel, and he put years of work into...

Sad News, The Passing of Frank Desomma

Sad indeed......always seemed a super guy and as you say gave a ton of support for matches..... of course Frank was standing in disbelief as that joke went down. He couldn’t bring himself to tell him to hug and kiss the rifle. Such memories Doc
