SH - What You Remember from the Past?

Walking ballistic computer......I swear he can feel a 50’ change in density altitude in his soul. One of my favorite people on the planet. He is missed around here. Oh, the Spin D video. So many good ideas drinking whiskey after a match at RO. Some bad ones too. Not sure which is better, Spin D...

Suppressors Thoughts on Omega as first suppressor?

I beat mine like a rented mule and have had no issues. It sees time on a MK18, noveski 16” SPR, 8” BLK. I have no complaints. Doc

What Would you do with a 7mm WSM Barrel?

Great cartridge. Love mine. Brass is the only issue (and short barrel life, but that’s the same with any similar round). It’s a shame it has become an unpopular loading. We shot it for several years in comps. As you have the barrel, shoot it.

    Lone Survivor Foundation Rifle

    You will be missed.

    Lone Survivor Foundation Rifle

Beautiful stick, Terry. You're always first class. Speaking of matches, can Tatford and I kidnap you on our way to the SH Cup next month? It's been too long since we shot with you. Doc

    Suppressors ATF just called me!

Buddy had a similar correction call, and was about 4 weeks until receipt of forms after that. This was 1.5 months ago, if that helps.

Wouldn't be a RO match without you

.223 trainer vs Spare Barrel & reloading components for my x47

If you don't mind spinning up barrels for your 6.5, it's an option. There is some difference in overall Ammo costs, and you will get more life out of a 223 barrel, so for most people that barrel is likely a 1-2 time purchase, vs many more with a 6.5 if you are training often. If you already run...

Sniper’s Hide Cup 2017 Sniper's Hide Cup at Rifles Only

As of now we are all going, but those other 2 can get a bit flaky...... A certain crescent shaped gun plumber may be coming, as well as The Stash. Two long lost faces. Now Tat and I just have to kidnap Magnum PI on our way in.

    Advanced Marksmanship Lead Estimation

If given time and opportunity several of the math versions work. One thing Jacob Bynum said once really hit home for me on movers, and while it requires some time with a mover track to pick up, it really is a great way to look at it. This is my version of his idea. When talking about figuring...

Advanced Marksmanship Ok guys WTF is sympathetic squeeze referring to?

I have not seen it mentioned in this manner in classes. Usually when I or others I know refer to it it refers to an unintentional motion of one part of the body due to the motion of another part. This could be changing grip pressure when pulling the trigger, torquing the grip, poor control of...

Night Vision PEQ Height and Scope Issues.

I will try to snap a pic of my work SBR with T2 and DBAL. I had issues with the lower Larue mount and the laser height. It occupied roughly the lower third of the optic FOV. That was with an HK height mount (from my old POF SBR). When I switched to a standard height mount for the T2, it's much...

    practice dummy

Jacob Bynum of Rifles Only had a standing offer to replace any of his students' firing pins which were broken from too much dry fire. More than 15 years of instruction and I don't think he has paid out. His AIAW had over 100k live Rounds through it, and lord knows how many dry fires. Snap away! Doc
