I occasionally go down the kidney stone road, usually the result of dehydration. When so afflicted a couple days of apple cider vinegar will break them down. Never had any pain passing them…..thankfully… Have tried several types but the best tasting by far is from Bragg. Stay away from Heinz...- hangunnr

Height for “lip” around shooting bench?
I built this one several years back for our rifle range at camp. I cut the rounded edge off of some decking boards about 1” in height. The edge towards the target is fine for loading a bipod f you feel so inclined and the rest keeps brass from rolling off.- hangunnr

Nothing really special about how I paint, anyone can do it. The most important part is the prep work, make sure everything is as clean as you can get it. I prefer acetone. For the casings this is the one I used. Casings from LEM The smoker is a Masterbuilt 40, it holds temp pretty well but the factory smoke generator leaves a lot to be desired. I use a tray that holds pellets for smoke.- hangunnr

How about some venison “bacon”? While there isn’t a red blooded American that would ever confuse this with real bacon it is pretty good. Started out with 6# of lean venison and 2# of pork shoulder. Best paint for sponge on camo pattern?
These 2 were done with Brownells Alumahyde. After a base coat, I use the same method as PU by spraying a puddle onto a paper plate and dabbing the sponge. If you allow the AH to fully cure it’s a very tough finish.- hangunnr
