    I think what matters is once the scope is in the rings and attached to the base, that you level the action and then the reticle? You can use the underside of the scope? however I prefer to level the reticle.

    I couldn't agree more, I have one and it's great, and takes alot of the "frustration" out of leveling a scope, for me it's because sometimes I can be too "fussy".

    Are the rings tight? I usually level the rifle , & torque the rings to the base & then level the scope.

    I need a in/lb torque wrench

    I picked up a Wera torque driver on Ebay, it goes from 11 to 29 inch pounds so your pretty much covered for scopes and MRDS for pistols. Great quality IMO.

    BTW, I'm just curious about your choice of rings? & height? I'm using one your stocks 🙂👍, & I usually opt for Badger M40A rings , however this being somewhat of a "compact" scope, I'm thinking maybe going with Nightforce 1"-mediun? or the 1.125" height?

    Thanks Terry, are you using the C552 model? It looks like Nightforce has "discontinued" the 4X16X50 model and replaced it with the 4X20X50 model.
