    I have your fix. Am going to bet that your JP bolt has the one piece gas ring? Remove it and install the old tried and true three piece gas rings. Been through this on TWO JP based builds.

    I got a really good deal on one locally and got to use it in a local PRS match. Worked well enough for me. Glass is decent. Not a $2000 scope IMHO, but shop around and you can get them for around $1500.

    Install a adjustable gas block. Most of AR's...large and small frame alike....are way overgassed.

    Tikka T3 Lite Stainless 243 and bullet weight

    I have owned a T3 in .243. They are 1:10 twist. Mine really liked 75gr Hornady hollow points for coyotes and 87gr Vmax for longer shots. Worked great out to 600 yards. Never tried anything heavier.
