    I always liked the look of the G model with that chin turret. Almost won a ride in one at an airshow years ago. I got third prize and flew in an open cockpit Steerman instead. Not as cool as the B-17, but still pretty cool.

    I have a very German last name and my immediate neighbors growing up were Wachters, Theiss, Schmidt, Hecht and Hitler's (no kidding). I can remember blacks being pulled over for driving through our community. Very different in the old neighborhood now. Not sure it's better, but it's different.
