    Just for some perspective. I run a 20 moa base, and a 20 moa Mount on my zco. With the zco 527 I have 28.5 mils of up travel on that setup.

    I suspect making shots between 200-1200 yds. I’m comfortable with those ranges. The rifle will be chambered in 28 nosler. Chances are I will have to pack this rifle 10-15 miles a day. Just never have had to pack a rifle and gear this far before.

    20 mo minimum. Could run 30 if you want with no issues.

    Looking to put together a sheep rifle. This rifle will serve as a multi use gun ultimately. Currently I have a manners eh1a and a fluted light Palma barrel. I am concerned it may be on the heavy side, but I’m not an experienced sheep hunter.

    I have a pm2 with h59. Awesome reticle. I don’t really need the mover holds but it never hurts having them. Now that all these awesome reticles are out (grid,milxt,skmr3,mpct2) the tremor reticles are a bit obsolete. It’s going to be hard to improve upon what is out there.

    Absolute perfection with 40 moa. 20 moa base and 20 moa spuhr mount. No problem with 100 yd zero. I could easily run 50moa total and still have 100 yd zero. Although at this point, I’m not sure I will ever need more than the 28.5 mils of up travel I have currently!

    Get the ultra 7. Ultra 9 isn’t enough quieter to justify the length. The 7 6.5 is about the same attenuation as the 9 in 30 cal. Might as well get the more compact package. If you need the most attenuation, just buy a 338 ultra.

    I too have wondered about trying this. For the most part I don’t have issues using natural point of aim getting behind the scope and finding targets. Occasionally when targets are very blended in I could see this being helpful.

    Ultra 7 6.5 here for my prs rig. I run it 100% of the time. 26” barrel. I have considered cutting down to 24”, but I seldom struggle with the length.

    I can shoot weak side, just prefer not to. Every other scope manufacturer figured out how to not put the illum knob in a stupid place, you would think schmidt would catch on.

    Makes it near impossible for a left hand action. I own one with the illum removed. I just would like to not remove features from a 3k scope.

    Well said. Kahles makes a awesome scope. Really the scopes you mentioned are all very good. For 3k, you may as well buck up the w tea 500-600 and get a ZCO. They really are that much nicer. What ever you decide, I’m sure you will be happy with.
