I know this probably isn’t the best forum to ask this on but I’m hoping someone has one of these and has some data on it. I’ve got a 17 hornet that I’m having the barrel cut down and threaded for a suppressor. It’s currently 24 inches and I’m probably going to make it 20 or 18 inch. My question...

A simple 10000mah powerbank lasts hours. I’ve got this one and have used it about 2-3 hours of “on time” and it’s still got more than a half charge.

Did that the other day when doing load dev. Fortunately I noticed after the first 3-4. Couldn’t figure out why a couple kernels were falling in the floor after I seated the bullet.
I saw some old threads comparing Alpha, Lapua and Peterson brass, but nothing recent. I'm about to buy some new 6.5 creedmoor brass probably in small primer. From the reading I've done all of these look like good options, but is there a consensus on the ranking of them?
SOLD. I have 875 of them. I bought these a while ago, then switched bullets. They were “seconds” but look and shoot fine. $180 shipped to lower 48, Paypal F&F or you pay the fee. They will come in zip lock bags.
There is a definite difference in rattle can pain quality. The Rustoleum Paint+primer combo is pretty good stuff. I haven’t tried them all, but compared to Krylon paint+Primer, which is like water in cold weather, it’s a big improvement.
17 and 20 cal centerfire definitely seems like a market begging to have a great Rem 700 style action made for it and the next logical step up from rimfire.
@RAVAGE88 I couldn’t agree more. I bought a CZ 17 hornet to be a “step up” from rimfire cartridges. I wanted something with a very low report when suppressed with very little recoil. Something that would just be a pleasant caliber to go out and mess around with. Something that stretches out...
@Kasey What’s the height in the center from ground to the apex of the No Clamp version when the legs are at 90 degrees and with the legs collapsed all the way in?
I’m using a PSR and shoot with the legs at 90 with one notch out from fully in most of the time. I measure that at 7.25 inches...
