    Re: Forged VS Billet That and billet receivers are usually machined to match a specific upper. So while the lower is still compatible with any upper, it might look kind of janky when pairing it with a different upper than what it came with. Did I mention they're usually much more expensive?

    Re: Springfield M1A I stuck with factory springfield mags with good results - but generally an empty wallet. Those suckers were expensive but I had zero problems. As for the rifle, keep it stock It's a great looking gun on its own. Something about walnut and park just looks good.
