    I don't think many people who shoot precision rifles want monopods on their rifles. I have a hard enough time not tensing up and causing my shoulder to be a pivot point, I certainly don't want to add another one into the mix.

    Correct. Sight offset is going to come from an offset mount, or if you cant the rifle then you are reducing sight height above bore and increasing sight offset (SOH, CAH, TOA and all that magic maths).

    I do. I have not done PRS, just plinking prone or F Class. #1 reason is to prevent eye fatigue. If I lose the crosshair, I might close my off eye for a few seconds to get it back but usually a simple blink gets my brain to focus back on the reticle.
