Who has a watch they like?

I'm assuming this uses tritium or some such for illumination as the sun would be very dim at 10000m ;-)

How to spot a FAKE Atlas Bi-pod

Perfectly reasonable. A case in point. I love Tivoli Audio products Tivoli Audio Canada- Table Radios, Portable Radios, Hi-Fi Systems, iPod Players, Music Systems and Networks On the backs of their not inexpensive radio and CD combination it says...'made in China', which I have no problem with...

How to spot a FAKE Atlas Bi-pod

Though I too try to buy local whenever possible...be careful what you wish for. I'm from Canada, eh...and we sell you a lot of oil. We are you're number one foreign source of oil because the U.S. can't produce enough for their requirements. China really wants us to sell more of our oil to them...

Dissapointed at .22 WMR long distance performance

Just a thought...was there any wind. Possibly the .30/.33 grain WMR are being blown about more by the wind (even if only a breeze) once they go subsonic, compared to the 40gr LR. As someone else mentioned, it would be worth trying a .40 or .50 gr. I've only take mine (the Accutips) out to...

How to spot a FAKE Atlas Bi-pod

Is a fake Atlas so bad ;-) I have a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust...value over $6000. About 10 years ago I was given a fake Rolex Daytona (mechanical movement, not a bad fake worth about $400). No word of a lie...even after a $600 service on the Rolex, the fake Daytona keeps better time...

Where should i put my money? "strap-on" Cheek pad for rifle

I'd go with the Bradley. I had one of the soft rests...found it really didn't get my eye in line with my scope and it moved around a bit...so I couldn't get a consistent cheekweld. I went for the universal Kydex (which works great), but since you don't want to put holes in your stock I think the...

    Savage malfunction

Just wondering how often it is happening. First post "Since I got it 5 years ago I have had a problem intermittently" crumpmd Couple posts later "Not an intermittent problem. Happens frequently" crumpmd

    BAD ASS Air Rifle

There are some kick-ass airguns out there alright. Check out the Twinmaster line Precision Airgun Distribution - Rhm Twinmaster Page Specifically the 'Desperado' which cracks down and stores in a fitted guitar case. Just too cool.

    Best Handheld Topo GPS??

I feel like such a Luddite...I just upgraded my cheap Silva compass for a Tritium Cammenga and a new set of maps for my area ;-)

Kids, ARs, AR500 and Star targets

I love to see this kind of stuff...you just can't start 'em too early in my opinion. My boys (now 10 & 12) started with Red Ryders when they were 4 & 6. I get comments all the time at the range about how they are more safety conscious than many adults.

Yeti coolers - who has 'em?

Well, I've been wanting a Yeti for awhile now but just couldn't justify the price. My sons are young 9 & 12 and our camping trips for now are limited to 3 days or so. At about $250 Canadian for the 20gt Roadie I just couldn't justify it...too much and just a bit too small. After reading this...

Rifle Scopes Which mid / low end scope in 4 - 12, 14, 16 range?

I've owned low end Bushnell's and Nikon's and have found that the Hawke Tactical's are better (IMHO) Hawke Optics | Sidewinder 30 Tactical Side Focucs Here's a detailed review of the 4.5x14 with comparisons to some of its competition Hawke Sidewinder Tactical 30 4.5-14×42 » OpticsThoughts

What gun do you reccommend for a trainer?

First, what model of Marlin do you have...and what is 'doesn't shoot very well'...mean. 1" groups at 100yds? 2"? A foot? Then read this...sub 1moa rimfires are not as common as you may have been led to believe...

Rear bags...is there such a thing as a perfect one?

Of course the obvious answer is that what's 'perfect' for you likely isn't for me. I don't know of any product in the world that is perfect ;-) I find for my setup the Tab rear bag works great...so the only advice I would give is to watch all the answers here (and pics) and try out the two or...

    Adjustable objective? Yes..no?

Definitely get the AO scope. When I purchased my Savage last year it came kitted with a non-AO Bushnell rimfire scope...parallax adjusted for 50yds, where it could shoot dime size 5 shot groups. I spent a frustrating couple of months trying to get good groupings at 100m. Adjusted stock screws...

Who has a watch they like?

I have two watches I really like (well three, but more about that later) 5.11 Tactical Field Ops Tactical Military Watch | Official 5.11 Site has a Sureshot ballistic calc built in. A little fiddly but it does work. Timex.ca | Intelligent Quartz | INTELLIGENT QUARTZ? TIDE TEMP COMPASS has...
