    Alternatives to Criterion?

I wouldnt hesitate to buy a criterion barrel. I've had criterion on bolt guns and currently have a 10.5" criterion on my short gas gun. I have a 20" proof on my dmr setup. They both shoot about the same at 100y. The 10.5" gun has been shot out to 600 with 77s and it shot good.

Why get a KRG Whiskey-3 (fixed) over an X-Ray?

I've had both. At one time had identical barreled actions setup in each. The w3 felt better and seemed to hold steadier when shooting prs. I've since sold the w3 though to try other stocks/chassis and still have the xray with a w3 forrend and really like it.

Needing some assistance with selecting a bullet and powder. I have a 22" carbonsix 7.7 twist I bought for coyote hunting. I have 53vmax, 60vmax, 69smk, 75eldm, 77smk, and 85.5 bergers. I'd really like to stick with something that will run fast and flat if they won't blow up. Powders I have...

    PRS tactical division bullet choice

That's the other reason I've been running 223. It's cheap. Plus with my dillon I can load a seasons worth of ammo in a couple evenings and it shoots as good as ammo I load on an arbor press with an fx120i autotrickler setup

    PRS tactical division bullet choice

I would agree. I only shoot tac because I got burnt out a couple years ago. Shot so many matches it just got old. So figured I'd switch it up and run tac division just for the hell of it. I don't really want a trophy unless there's a few other tac shooters there.

178gr is the limit for tac division otherwise that would have been my first choice.

    PRS tactical division bullet choice

Been running 223 for a couple years in Tac division. The whole I've ran 77tmk. The rifle shoots awesome but it's so hard for spotters to see hits on a plate past 700 and really hard for me to spot misses because they just don't kick up much dirt so I'm switching to 308. I know years ago 175 smk...
