    The Desert Tactical, Sako TRG M10, Barrett MRAD, Tubb Adaptive Target Rifle, and Cadex Kraken, to name a few, are all viable alternatives.

    Yup - street prices on Leupold are usually waay lower than MSRP, so low in fact that 50% of MSRP might be higher than street price (+ whatever you spent on the certificate).

    The ones I've seen from Leupold were 50% off of MSRP, and had to be ordered through Leupold. The certificate will always say where it has to be ordered from.

    Who has gone back to a Harris?

    If you're shooting off of a bench that has a low seat, the ability to "lower" the height of the bipod via the 45 degree forward position is great. That's the only time I've done that.

    And it depends on what generation and what reticle. 3rd Gens bring the most and then reticle (and LSW) is personal preference.

    About $1,800 if you call around for a new one from an authorized dealer. I've seen used ones in good condition for about $1,650-$1,700 or so, depending on the reticle. There is/was a K16 for sale in the classified section.

    Atlas vs Accu-Tac

    Don't have any experience with the Accu-Tac but really like my Atlas PSR that I use for PRS matches. Very sturdy, easy to adjust, quick on-off.

    PRS Talk Thoughts on first PRS match

    I shot my first PRS match with Mason Dixon in PA this Sunday. I had fun, learned alot, and have a lot to work on. The people on my squad were very helpful, answering all of my dumb questions and being helpful, even lending me a tripod when it was better to shoot a stage with one.
