    Problem with one of my gun safes.

    No help on getting it open, not exactly. Bet it is like my friend's safe recently. Same thing, had to get a lock smith and drill a hole. Wound up being the actual bracket that pushes and pulls the locking bolts. Real shitty weld and it finally broke. Five minutes to fix but a pain to open.

    It only headspaces in association with the bolt head. You can swap your original one onto another body/handle. Headspace on rimmed cartridges is measured from breech face to the face of the bolt. As an aside, if you have one out of spec you can try different bolt heads to correct headspace.
