    Thanks, how different is it from the Enhanced gen 2 quadrail? I already have an enhanced barrel nut I can use. I like the optional mounts for my steiner SPIR and CQBL for night vision. I just de not like the quadrail where my hand is.

    carbon paper, have used it in the past to see how things fit. Some contact cement holds it in place and rubs off without leaving residue.

    if you plan on traveling a lot by air, get an airline CC, the free bag pays for itself quickly. Also try to fly one airline and get status. For example on Delta, I have 3 free bags, and the weight limit is 70 lbs and not 50 lbs domestic.

    Ruger mk 2 and 3 are awesome, reliable pistols that are a total pain to take down. Mk 4 solved the takedown issues, but I have not tried one so can not recommend it. S&W 22a is junk. I has a Puma 1911-22 thst was fun to shoot.

    Had a local fabricator build me a custom aluminum case for about $250. 1/8" aluminum welded together with a full hinge along the back and 4 lockable latches.
