    Defender ammunition...?

    Defender 69gr SMK from my JP .223 20' yesterday. I blew a great group with the 5th round at 100 yards. Knew it when I pulled the trigger. The 300 yard group was in heavy mirage. I get velocity of 2810 fps ES in the 30's.

    I upgraded spotters last year. Found a great deal on SH for a barely used Ares 20-60x85. The Ares blew away the Bushnell Legend T in a side by side comparison....as in not even close. Glass is very nice.....mirage will always be the limiting factor with high magnification spotters.
