    They are 416R stainless. Just like Proof and many other manufacturers. My question was genuine. I don’t know how you think these barrels will behave differently (or why).

    Yes and it’s based on common sense. How do you think these barrels might “hold up” differently than other barrels? They’re premium button rifled barrels. Don’t worry about it.

    There is no issue with the hand guard touching the barrel. Yes, I’ve attached M-lok attachments to the forend. I added a QD sling mount and arca plate and there it plenty of room between the hardware and the barrel.

    I just had mine begin to “fail to cock” when running the bolt hard, after about 1000 rounds fired. All I adjusted from the factory was the first stage travel. Testing pull weight, it appears it was set too light at 8oz. Increasing it to 10oz fixed it.
