    This is a Stern Defense adapter that turns a regular AR lower into a PCC lower with last round hold back. It will accept Glock 9mm or .40S&W mags. I needed to reappropriate a lower for a rifle so finally bought a dedicated PCC lower but this adapter runs like a champ. $150 TYD.

    Criterion customer service

    I have one on my .223 bolt gun and it's fine. That gun doesn't need much brake at all (if any) but I put one on for what recoil reduction it might give and to protect the muzzle.
