    Thank you It does bother me a little, rifle is a lazer but that safety wiggles and waggles. It may not be a 1/8 inch but it seems like a lot of play. I may try some other detents as suggested.

    Thank you all for the reply took it out long range and it seems ok Man what a terrible feeling Do y’all recommend a cleaning rod that is smaller than the cal maybe a 22 rod for 30 cal rounds etc.

    I shot one group of three at 100 as I was on borrowed time and it still shot fine, one ragged hole. Just makes me very nervous and upset I did that and perhaps I messed up the barrel somehow that will cause issues over time etc.

    For what it’s worth my Kidd 10/22 did the same thing, sent it in they said I had a squib round that caused a ring in the rifling. They sent me a new barrel and it went back to a one hole gun.

    Semi automatic short barrel supressed

    Depends what you mean by work. If it can handle the short barrel it will work with properly set gas system. Short barrel does equal loud but it will work if it’s designed for that short of a barrel.
