    Bushnell XRS3

    I sent my XRS3 to Bushnell and It turns out it "would not focus properly". They promptly replaced it with a new one and total turn around time was 9 days. The sample I received has the glass I expected. Thumbs up Bushnell.

    Vudoo w/ Eley Ammo

    I wish my Vudoo 360 was melonited. My Cerakoted action seems to bind unless I use heavy grease. I have about 8000 rounds through it. Forget runnning Eley tenex in it, no bueno.

    Possible LRF Deal

    Sig only has a 5 year warranty on the electronics of the laser range finder. Mine Sig went down and it is just outside of the 5 years. Now I am shopping for a Vortex.

    South Bend 10 lathe

    I made a new belt out of a serpentine belt. Use it groove side down, feather the ends about an inch and glue the splice with super glue. Mine has held up for at least 10/years and counting.

    Warmest Vest?

    I have found that goose down puffy vest or jacket compress more than any other jacket material I have used. This Canadian hates being cold and that down is all I wore shooting at least weakly all winter long (in Texas 😬).

    Sig Kilo 10k ABS

    The blue tint was so distracting to me that they immediately became a no go. Color is part of image quality. I really do not like the Sig 10k Blue's.

    Tikka T1x

    I have 2 T1X's in 22lr, that now have custom barrels. They now shoot almost as good as the 15 CZ MTR's that I compete against. However, they do not feed as well as the CZ's.

    I have the same barrel and I can’t say that I’m overly impressed. It shoots center-x worse than some bulk ammo I tried. I’m not going to bother calling them as each time I contacted them i was told something different that turned out not to be true.
