Re: Rifle Ready To Go For Varmints
It would be according to what your dealer priced it at. MSRP is $1,172, but the ones I have seen generally start around $845 or so. Everything about them can be read on the Ruger site. Here's the link to them...
Re: I hurt for this boy!
When he finally goes to prison for this he will get what he deserves from the other inmates. They at least have morals about children.
Re: Savage Model 10 Precision Carbine
The one I had was a good little rifle. It came from the factory w/ the muzzle brake installed. It shot good with what I shot thru it and probably would have been a better shooter w/ good handloads or FGGM. I just didn't like the blind magazine &...
I finally got my 223 varmint rig ready to go. It is one of the Ruger Hawkeye Tactical rifles they came out with. The trigger pull is excellent. I installed a Bushnell Elite 6500 2-16x42 w/ mildots. I loaded up some 55 gr. Nosler Ballistic Tips using 24 grs. of Varget and the CCI #41 small...
Re: New rifle. No ammo. 6.5 Creedmoor
If you think the ammo is high I saw 220 rds. of once fired brass sell on GB for $325 + $12.50 s&h. That figures up to about $1.53 a round for brass that has been used once. The guy that won it really wanted it. I also have a 6.5 Creedmoor and have...
Re: Would you pay $1,000 + for this action?
It will never die as the same ones keep posting. Their as bad as the OP. Mods or Lowlight lock the thread or delete it.
Re: Burris Service Department
I think I will get in contact w/ them and see about getting mine changeg. I really like the scope, just not the 1" & 1/2" adjustments.
Re: 10/22 build
Shilen barrels are excellent barrels. I have 2 on 10/22's. 1 on a 22lr and one on a magnum. Super workmanship and can't be beat for the price.
I was just looking at different load data in my reloading manuals and noticed that the 340 Weatherby and the 338 Lapua were very similar in ballistics. Is there much advantage of one over the other? I will say that the 338 brass would seem easier to get from what I have seen, and the rifles...

You can get them directly from the source. It's where I got...
Re: Thumping AR questions
I agree w/ shedhorn. Also take a look at the 450 Bushmaster. The brass has been easier for me to find and it's a snap to reload since it's a straight case.
Re: LR 308 just finished
Kenco,
44Mag.com has the 10 rd. ones right now. They usually have the 5 too but are out. Here's the link. I got the 5 rd one awhile back to use in my LR-308 & LR-6.5 Creedmoor.
