    Marking your gear

Cattle ear tag ink ( Z-tag, black) lasts longer than Sharpie & also good for covering scope nicks, etc. Engraver or white paint pen on magazines.

Seekins SP10 in 6.5cm - Any ammo experiences?

Mine does great with Hornady 140 ELD M's. on paper and steel to a 1000 and on hogs to 500+ (haven't had any hogs to try farther than that).

Measuring 100 Yard Range-From chamber or end of barrel?

Thanks XLR308, that's what I have always assumed to be the case. Just over-thought it this time I guess!

Measuring 100 Yard Range-From chamber or end of barrel?

This has got to be the dumbest question I have ever asked on here (and I did do a search prior to posting). I have set up several 100 yard ranges over the years and just place the front of the bench at the 100 yd. line. A flood recently took out my current bench and as I was replacing it, I got...

    CBD oils

Apparently it is legal to sell CBD oil in Missouri, as we have a shop (American Shaman) in a strip mall in our area. I have tried some for arthritis pain in my feet and I believe it helps. It comes in different flavors, the ones I have tried aren't that bad, sort of like flavored alfalfa. Their...

Hunting & Fishing Chest freezer size?

That's a lot of meat to get in one freezer! I raise locker beef, have 4-21' upright freezers, and 1/2 of a 1350# steer will pretty much fill a 21' freezer. (Granted the meat is in trays). You are going to need a whopper of a freezer plus healthy appetites to eat all that meat before it freezer...

Best table top tripod for Pentax spotter 65mm

Check out RayVin, he has both tripods and clamp-on stands. I have a clamp-on of his, excellent quality and a nice guy to deal with. Might check the Creedmoor selection as well.

Are Muzzle Brakes Really That Loud to Range Neighbors?

Do the muzzle brake blast shields available for many brakes make much of a difference?

Suppressors High heat suppressor covers ??

I use a Rifles Only on a Seekins SP10 shooting hogs and am happy with it. Certainly not full auto, but sometimes enough multiple shots to be glad it's there when maneuvering in and around a pickup.

    Custom Cheek Rests?

I have misplaced the contact info for the person who converts McMillan/Manners stocks into the adjustable cheek piece version stocks. I know Terry Cross makes the hardware for this application, but not sure who will do the actual conversion. Can someone please refresh my memory? Thanks!

    Tikka T3X TAC A1

I just got one in recently to use as a practice rifle. Overall I was impressed, although 2 minor aggravations were that the rifle came w/o any way to mount a bipod and that I have to remove the action from the chassis to adjust the trigger (4#, 9 oz second stage). Three days later I have a MWI...

    Training Courses Rifles Only Training

Another big thumbs up for Rifles Only, Jacob, Lisa & Staff! Great training! I can't remember when I have sweated more, learned more or been humbled/elated more than in the week spent at their great facility.

Sidearms & Scatterguns 340PD Who's got one, what to expect?

I have the no-lock version and have carried it daily for years, usually with +P hollow points. Recoils with magnum loads is tolerable, but I don't do it more than a cylinder full at a time. My normal holster is a D.M. Bullard custom cross-draw (OWB) or front pocket of 511 pants in a Desantis...

Advice on a good .22 pistol.

My 2 oldest grandsons, 15 & 13, really like the S&W M&P .22's I have for them. I usually start my grandkids (handgun-wise) on a S&W 317 Airweight 3" barrel revolver shooting single action, due to it's being light weight and very accurate. Kids love reactionary (read explosive!) targets like...
