    okay I will try that on my next trip to the range. I wondered about that but I wanted to Prolong the break-in period. I had a 6BR Savage that did this, called Savage, they had me return it and replaced the barrel. This barrel coppers very little.

    I bought the HMR in 22 250, not happy should have bought the tikka, better barrel, trigger and action. The HMR is sloppy , not accurate and the trigger needs replacing.

    Why do people seem down on Savage rifles?

    I have several Savages, LRP, LRPV, 2 Tikkas, Berger B14HMR. My Savages out shoot my Bergara, have a better trigger . THE. BERGARA has a sloppy action when compared to My Tikka.

    TIKKA T3x Super Varmint SS or Bergara HMR Pro in 22-250

    I love my tikkas, very accurate. So are my savages. I'd buy something decent and only cry once. Howas are a good value. Forget dicks.

    BMRPA Range in Bismarck, ND all the way from 25 yds. To 1000 yds. Silhouettes at 540. Awesome range & a great club to be a member in. Need to be a member to shoot. Only $200 per year. Also have an indoor range for pistol & 22 rimfire.
