Dropped this off over at Spinners Fit & Chamber a couple weeks ago and had Justin spin up a Bartlein on it in 6.5 Creed. For those of you looking for a guy who does top notch work, pays great attention to detail, and has phenomenal turn around time, add Justin to your list of Smith’s to send your work to.

I threw together a load of 136gr Lapua Scenar-L with 42.0gr H4350 loaded to the lands. This was the 5-shot group it shot after I sighted it in with some Hornady factory stuff.

Helluva gun and quite the performance! It definitely needs a new trigger because the factory one is crap. If any of you have a lead of a Timney or Jewell (non-MOA) hit me up!

the Pre-MOA factory triggers are usually pretty good with some adjustment. Have you messed with it at all? They’re kind of hard to beat from a ruggedness stand point as well.

Yea the one on my 223 is the factory pre-MOA and it is really crisp and nice! I turned the pull weight down a little bit on this 6.5 creed and the pin started dropping every time I closed the bolt so I tighten it back up. Not sure if there is a sear adjustment I can mess with, but I didn't want to bother with it anymore and risk an unexpected firing.

Very nice! I have an FN SPR that has been sitting in my safe for over a year and I was gonna do the LRI group buy, but that Doesn’t seem to be happening anytime soon. Time to get this thing rebarreled.

I have a rifle basic for Win 70. $65 shipped. I like the Rifle Basiin my Savages. I've adjusted my Win factory trigger pretty light and crisp.

I'm a big 70 guy myself. Got a PBR on the way and another 70 crpf in the safe. This will make 8 for me. I picked up a Jewell trigger for my 300wsm and it's a pretty big improvement over the factory tuned one.
