New To reloading - .223/.308 Match Grade Reloading Setup Help

The Lee perfect powder measure is a very effective and economical thrower that doesn't cut kernels. I had two set up before I started using the RCBS chargemaster and still use them occasionally for time efficiency. I used the RCBS scale that came with my Rockchucker kit until I went...

Bad batch of AICS 223 Mags???

Yes, you can see how the magazine on the right allows the rounds to sit much higher. One thing I didn't mention is that the malfunctioning mags have a wide enough gap between the lips to allow top loading. Scott, I have no doubt there is more precision in the AI chassis. The 700 isn't ideal...

Bad batch of AICS 223 Mags???

Jamie, I guess you can tell that's a 223AI. I just spoke to Lance at AI and he said to send them in and he will replace them. I can't ask for more than that at this point. Hopefully the ones I get will not have the same issue.

Bad batch of AICS 223 Mags???

Ten rounds in a functional magazine vs ten rounds in one of the problem magazines Here you can see where the rounds were rubbing on the bolt body. Glad it's not fluted :P

Bad batch of AICS 223 Mags???

AI magazine failure to feed in Remington 700 - YouTube This is representative of the failures to feed I had. The dbm was installed professionally and works with initial production 223 AICS magazines. The problem ones were purchased in Jan/Feb 2014. I apologize for the quality of the video...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Thin Carry Pistol

I had the right holster for my HK P7M8 (Iron Oak?) and it was a great carry gun. More accurate than any mortal needs and reliable. I never had any issues with mine but sold it like a fool.

You might consider using brake instead of break as from your title it seems you are referring to a TBAC product that is broken.

    Rifle Scopes Bushnell warranty nonsense

The elevation knob and windage knob both had binding issues. From what I see now I'd say its the rubber gaskets inside. With the elevation knob I observed times when the dialed amount was less than what was dialed. I'm not trying to hit sub moa steel at 1000 with it. I've been using it on 18"...

    Rifle Scopes Bushnell warranty nonsense

If you start a sentence with I don't mean to piss in anyone's Wheaties you clearly intend to do so. A 243 with a 20moa rail isn't asking a whole lot of an optic in terms of elevation dude. The scope is advertised as having 80 moa of travel so on a canted rail I'm asking for 24 MOA in the middle...

    Rifle Scopes Bushnell warranty nonsense

I spoke to a CS rep this morning and he told me they put the optics in a collimator and dial the full travel. My scope allegedly was inspected and passed this test. I said that I intended to run a test myself, by dialing and shooting on a ruled paper, and would report back. My intention was to...

    Rifle Scopes Bushnell warranty nonsense

I sent in my 3200 10x because the elevation knob was not functioning correctly. Once I got out to 600 plus the knob would not track accurately(edited because I forgot to mention windage adjustments also were compromised). This is with a 243 shooting 95 VLDs on a 20 MOA rail. The paper work...

Sidearms & Scatterguns What do you guys think the Glock 10mm..?

Doubletap 180 and 200 grain ammo vs 1/4" mild steel is quite a sight. 9, 40 and 45 rang it but left no damage. 10mm hits looked like someone tried to push their finger through the steel. I've only shot one deer with mine using Hornady 10 XTP's which is brisk but not Doubletap power. The bullet...
