I want to see 375/408 groups at 1000 yards!!

Re: I want to see 375/408 groups at 1000 yards!! Bummer, but thanks for the info. I run TRG's and have an A5 stocked rifle as well, and while I like the low gravity of the TRG bipod, I still think a top mount would be even better. Any thoughts on this? Thanks. R.

Re: I want to see 375/408 groups at 1000 yards!! Nice looking rifle! Can we get more info on the bi-pod. Like where to get one, how long would it take to get one, and how much to get one? Thanks. R.

    roedale muzzle brake

Re: roedale muzzle brake Tikka threads are metric. The Roedale brake comes in more popular thread sizes. Get the Roedale brake, as it far outperforms the Tikka/Sako brake. I can't answer your question about the bolt handle. R.

    Trg and sling stud?

Re: Trg and sling stud? The TRG's I have had the larger style eye for slings with clips on them. The part looks the same as JK posted, but the eye is much larger. If one didn't come in the bag, and you're in a bind, you can take the one off the sling attachment. The harris works just fine...

    338LM Mythbusting :) VIDEO POSTED

Re: 338LM Mythbusting :) I'm not impressed either. I've hit one of those Lunar Retroreflectors with my .338 Lapua AI and a 300 grain SMK. The regular Lapua didn't have the jam, so it had to be AI'd for the shot. I'd post the group, but I fear it violated the rules. I could only get three...

Gunsmithing Trg-42 .338lm Torque on action?

Re: Trg-42 .338lm Torque on action? I have mine twisted down at 65 inch/pounds. I do remember it from the factory being very hard to turn the bolts out. R.

    Muzzle Breaks

Re: Muzzle Breaks It's brake, and a quality one will not effect accuarcy. Point of impact may change, but not accuracy. Badger FTE, Roedale, there are plenty of choices. R.

    Help! trg-42 .338lm

Re: Help! trg-42 .338lm Check all of the chassis bolts are torqued properly. I run mine at 65 inch pounds. Then check out your rail/mounts. Then your rings. Barrett has a specific set up for their rings, and this can be found on their website. The BORS should be a non-issue, assuming it's...

    SOTECH Sniper Hybrid Hydration Harness

Re: SOTECH Sniper Hybrid Hydration Harness How much stuff could a fella put on the padded belt, before one required to use the shoulder straps? Is this even pratical? I'm a hunter, so I don't pack a lot of stuff, but enough that it's a pain the ass. Swarro Binoculars, Swarro LRF, Kenwood...

    Accuracy International bipod.....worth the coin?

Re: Accuracy International bipod.....worth the coin? Pete, I like the TRG bipod with it's lower centre of gravity. I feel it offers better stabilty, and feel, than the spigot mounted pods. R.

Reloading Dies for .338 Lapua mag

Re: Reloading Dies for .338 Lapua mag Can't be done, as the Lapua case is way to large. ATRS or Hircsh Precision will have the dies you need in stock. I have a .338 Lapua AI reamer as well, if you're interested. R.
