    Re: Why are my USO rings not closed all the way? Ok, I swapped the tops, flipped them around, neither made a difference. One ring has a gap, one does not. This is without bolting them down at all.

    Re: Why are my USO rings not closed all the way? I didn't crank down very hard on the front rings; I saw the little card that said 15 inch pounds. Hmm. So, there may be something wrong with the front rings?

    I just picked up a set of USO 30mm low rings to use with my USO SN-3. The front rings are fully closed, but the rear rings have a very slight gap on both sides. What am I doing wrong, or is this normal? I've never experienced it before as my rings have always closed up completely.

    Re: New Remington 700 SPS AAC twist question Not necessary, but more optimal than 1:12 for shooting heavier loads. For the 220 grain loads, it may be necessary. I haven't tried shooting one out of a 1:12 to see if it is.

    I'm somewhat new to bolt guns and I'm looking to add a small section of rail estate to the fore end of my 700. I have a Harris w/ built in Larue mount that I want to be able to swap from another rifle (AR-type, with rail). What are you guys using to do this? Thanks in advance.

    Re: Troy 13.8 forend Bob, The JP adjustable gas block I had fit perfectly under my DD rail. I didn't try it with the Troy, but I imagine it would fit there as well. Now, it is a tight fit. But it did indeed fit.

    Re: best ar10 grip upgrade? I have the ERGO on a LMT MWS and a MIAD on another AR. I like the softer and stickier rubbery texture (aka grippy) of the ERGO. I do like the MIAD in that the bottom storage cap does not fall out every 2-3 rounds like the ERGO
