    Opinions needed again!

Re: Opinions needed again! I hope you don't think I was in some way bashing your shooting skills. I think we all strive to get better every time we shoot. the reason I was saying that you should work on trigger and breath control is because of that group in the upper right. It proves...

    Maggie’s this man has gills!!

Re: this man has gills!! I scuba dive and am a member of a diving forum, so this video of course has been covered in detail. Apparently it was more of an art project that the guy was doing than anything else. It was done in several takes, not all at once like the video portrays. The guy...

    Opinions needed again!

Re: Opinions needed again! How much time do you have behind the gun? You feel confident about your shooting technique, trigger/breathing control? It's probably a pretty good load, but I have a feeling you could shrink those groups with more practice behind the gun.

    ? for you .40 reloaders

I'm loading up some practice ammo using Montana gold 165gr JHP's and Hodgedon Tite-Group. The problem is for one thing, there's no specific load info for MG bullets. And the second is, I'm getting conflicting data from reloading manuals, hodgdons website, and the jug of hodgedon powder. they...

    .45 bullet weight

Re: .45 bullet weight I'm kinda partial to plated bullets just because I'm a lead conscious sissy (as in me breathing lead). I didn't realize berrys sold bullets directly, and they're cheaper than montana gold. I'll probably go that route. They sure have a lot of choices for bullet shape...

    .223 - 77gr SMK - seating die mangling tips?

Re: .223 - 77gr SMK - seating die mangling tips? I've gotten marks on compressed loads as well but never a deformed tip. It sounds like your seating die is seating off the tip instead of the ogive.

    .45 bullet weight

It seems the general concensus on .45's is 230gr. But I'd like some opinions on what weight you guys prefer to shoot. between 185gr, 200gr, and 230gr and FMJ or JHP? What would be best to have on hand for SHTF (no stupid zombie BS).
