    Something you don't see everyday

Of course, not. They were just saving her the effort of cleaning up the mess she accidentally made. Very commendable. (And the 3 (or 5)-second rule is a myth. Contamination is instant upon contact). But then, I work in a very contaminated environment, and we ignore it all the time when you...

RIP Tom Lehrer... 97 is a pretty good run!

Incredible musician, too. He played 95% of that song without ever looking at the keyboard, and it wasn't just simple chords.

Okay, well I'll say it again... The only "he" in that post is Dave Brown who posted it. "He" was pointing out the stupidity and hypocrisy of the liberal viewpoint. It is not HIS viewpoint. "He" is pointing out how stupid it is. I think you (and I) agree with him.

“He” didn’t say that. He was stating the Liberal view point. Look again.

    Wow, Ozzy's gone.........

Well, there ya go. I was not familiar with this song, but I appreciate your posting it and making me aware of it. It confirms much of what I said earlier.

    Wow, Ozzy's gone.........

To add to my post above, I put Iron Maiden in the same category as Ozzy. In fact, I believe one or more of their guys are actually Believers nowadays. When I was coming of age as a guitarist (during their peak), Iron Maiden and Ozzy were called “satanic”. Years later (and with the help of the...

    Wow, Ozzy's gone.........

That would be awesome. Ozzy never really was satanic, or anti-God. He was all about theatrics and imagery to create a brand. He tapped into the same market attraction as haunted houses and horror movies. He didn’t seem to like organized religion at all (!), but I’ve heard him say quite a few...

    Reno Scheels

Ok, I’ve been out of the loop I guess. Last I heard, Aliant was out of the civilian powder market “indefinitely”, which I figured was actually permanent. Are they back in the civilian market again?

    Nightforce ATACR 4-20x50 Mil-xt or Schmidt & Bender 3-20x50 non-ultra short in Tremor 2 or 3

I have that exact NF on a .224 Valk. I like it just fine. I’ve never handled the SB you mention, but I have several of their PM IIs in 5-25 and one 6-36, and they are my favorites. I have the Tremor 3 reticle on a NF 7-35 and I’m not a fan of the reticle (the scope itself is great). The T3 is...

    Printed Precision Trickler

You could try test-fitting caps off of various spray paint, etc cans till you find one that fits, and then cut them down so you're just left with the very top portion. I did this 20 years ago when I lost the top that came with my RCBS Uniflow, been using that cap ever since (and it fits much...

Yeah, but it's probably getting time to replace it.

    Maggie’s Another M18 accidental discharge

This seems to be going the way of the PSR contract. Wonder how soon the new competition begins?

Garmin Xero app not changing sd on excluded shot

That is weird. Originally, the unit itself had that problem - delete a shot and it would recalculate AVG and ES, but not SD. But if you sent the session to the App and deleted your unwanted shots there, it would recalculate everything (including SD) correctly, and this was on an iPhone. Not too...

    300 Norma Mag

I've been begging them for 2 years, every chance I get. It's always, "We'll probably do that real soon." I think they must have made the guy at IP the project manager for this one.

Is this a unique thread pattern for SAC? I don't recall any other die makers using that thread off the top of my head.

I agree about the M-series neck sizing. I have one in 300PRC and wish I could size the neck less.

    300 Norma Mag

I can see the rationale for doing it, to keep the wall-thickness up for the larger bore of the die. I haven’t seen anyone definitively show that it is necessary, though. As you said, I guess we wait and see.

I had not heard they were 1” threads. The ones they make for 300PRC and 300WM are 7/8”. Have you heard the 300NM will be 1” instead?
