Most ridiculous price you've seen on 9mm

$43 for a box of 50 FMJ is the highest I've seen, so far, in a well known gun store in Vegas and that's BS, the hell with that place. Plenty of other places are not that greedy and that's where I'll spend my money.

Aimpoint PRO, DD fixed iron sights, absolute co witness or 1/3 co witness?

The front DD and the rear folding Troy work well together? Good info, I take you are familiar with it. Going to get the Larue mount for the 1/3 first, then will go from there. At least I have a better understanding of what I'm dealing with. Thanks (y)

Aimpoint PRO, DD fixed iron sights, absolute co witness or 1/3 co witness?

Would like to achieve a 1/3 co witness but I keep on hearing that the PRO/QRP2 with the DD AR15 iron sight Rock& Lock gives something that is not quite 1/3 co witness but not absolute co witness either. You have an A2 front sight so not sure if that makes a difference or not... This would go on...

    Best 9mm pistol caliber carbine?

Recently got a used Sig MPX-K, here on the Hide. Gave it a good cleaning, so far no issue, shoots everything I feed it with. Will be for HD, waiting for light to come in. Installed Timney trigger (just over 4 lbs, outstanding reset)) and anti walk pins. Zeroed it with TRS-25 (25 yards, had to...

Aimpoint PRO, DD fixed iron sights, absolute co witness or 1/3 co witness?

For the ones who have an Aimpoint PRO/QRP2 Mount and Spacer and the Daniel Defense fixed sight AR-15 IRON SIGHT SET (ROCK & LOCK®, SKU 19-088-09116). Do you have absolute co witness or 1/3 co witness?

    “Non Surefire” Weapon Lights

Got a Streamlight ProTac Railmount HL-X 1000 lumens and it's been a reliable light under moderate use (Colt 16" barrel), great luminosity. Only noticeable weakness I know of is the remote pressure switch, only rated IPX-4 (resistant to water splashes from any direction ) while the light itself...

    Sig MPX K 9mm

So far the MPX (Gen 2) has 250 rounds, did a good cleaning yesterday including piston. No issue, decent grouping @ 25 yards after zeroing red dot (you can see the "climb" on pic). I understand why Sig went with Timney on the Gen3, not impress by the Gen2 factory trigger but everything else is AOK.

    Sig MPX K 9mm

It's a used Gen2 (with keymod) I took on a trade; did not shoot it yet. Will try it next week; seems a bit stiff (action, trigger) but it did not see much action, so even though I have zero experience with this specific weapon, I assume everything needs to settle some. Cleaned and lubed it so it...

    Sig MPX K 9mm

Roger that; I know now why the homeless dude behind the 7-11 was smiling. Yeah Mac's video brings up questions; do not know if he got it solved with Sig.

I saw Mac's vid as well; planning on running it without a can but good info about the 8", thanks.

    Sig MPX K 9mm

Yeah, I noticed Sig dropping the ball on many "options" for the MPX... I think the trigger issue arose as some were installing AR triggers that were not 100% compatible. Looks like Timney has a good one now, it comes factory from SIG on the latest MPX models. Got a 4.5" Gen 2 coming in with 6...
