    Sidearms & Scatterguns M&P Pistols

Re: M&P Pistols Sold every M&P I've owned to go back to Glock. M&P9, M&P40, M&P45 & M&P40c. Nothing personal, I just prefer Glock. The M&P40's seem to be a bit more tame as far as recoil. My M&P40c was a pleasure to shoot compared to my G27. The M&P has a great track record and they are...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Entry level 1911 choices

Re: Entry level 1911 choices Don't be afraid of having a non-ramped barrel. On steel framed 1911's it's not an issue. If it's your first 1911 you gotta get the .45

Sidearms & Scatterguns Blade-tec holster - SRB belt loop or tek-lok?

Re: Blade-tec holster - SRB belt loop or tek-lok? I was not a fan of the Tek-Lok as it always needed to be where my belt loops are on my 5.11 pants.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Glock 34 or something else?

Re: Glock 34 or something else? If you like a trigger reset that you can feel, dont get the M&P. The G34 is the ticket for everything you mentioned. Probably the best track record also. Mine is crazy accurate. Better than any of the five 1911's that i've owned.

Arc'teryx leaf ALPHA or TAD Spectre

Re: Arc'teryx leaf ALPHA or TAD Spectre Yea, that was part of my thought process. Something different for a change. Not to mention I seem to be right in between sizes on the TAD stuff. The XL is too small and the XXL is too big. I hope my Alpha gets here soon!

Arc'teryx leaf ALPHA or TAD Spectre

Had the TAD Spectre, wish I had it back. I must admit the ALPHA has caught my eye. Is it worth the extra coin? I'm leaning towards the Spectre since I know its quality and features. I remember it being built so well that I could not imagine a higher quality jacket. I am just having a hard time...
