    Re: Ring mounting question It depends... Check the bottom of the rings and look at the rail bolt. For instance, the Burris xtreme tactical rings can only be mounted one way. The flat surface needs to be flush against the forward picatinny slots. That puts the bolts on the left side of the rifle.

    Re: AICS torques I have always used the 53.1 or whatever the directions state (I don't remember off the top of my head). IIRC, TacPro suggests 65in.lbs for the action bolts.

    Re: tps products Every TPS item I have had (2 bases & 4 sets of rings) has been flawless. Yes, CS has has major issues but, other than ordering, I have yet to need them. I also buy from Brownells and check stock before I buy.
