    Rayner's Range .... road work ...... detour

You can get to Duncan Falls and then turn right. Those are directions Tom emailed to me. I'll be heading down this weekend and clarify anything that needs to be.

    Rayner's Range .... road work ...... detour

State route 60 will be closed North of Rayner's for 60 days, so Tom wanted to let everyone know about the detour so you weren't too surprised. It's pretty simple and shouldn't take more than a few extra minutes. I am trying to let the Guys know that the State will be closing State Route 60...

    Harris bipod spike feet

A couple of local shooters always run their 6-9" bipods extended a couple of notches and sometimes maxed out, so they asked me about some extended feet. Here's what I came up with. They are 3/4", 1", and 2" extensions.

Suppressors .22LR/.223/.22-250 suppressor? Can it be done?

You can do that, but after having a dedicated .22lr can and a .308 can (both form 1), I can't see using the big one on a .22. I'm thinking you would give up some performance with that length unless you went with a larger diameter. Get your other form 1 submitted now and you'll have it back...

    Harris bipod spike feet

It turns out that the Sinclair bipod has a 3/8" round stud at the bottom of the square leg for their rubber feet, so just as easy for them.

    Rayner's weekend

Pretty much a perfect day for rifle shooting today. Lots of high scores this weekend, so the bar just keeps getting higher to be "that guy". If anyone needs something to do next Sunday on the 29th, the Rayner's are hosting their annual Cancer Benefit multigun match. Come on out and shoot those...

What's your favorite cheek riser for a fixed stock?

It's worth the effort to cut your stock and install KMW hardware.

    retumbo

BS, my dealer just got me a couple of 8#ers from his distributor for myself and a friend. They only had 2 jugs, so we got lucky. It's coming around a little at a time.

Vortex Viper R/T tactical 8x28: Good? Bad? Otherwise?

I have one and like it a lot. It's very clear and easy to use as it fits your hand just right.

Rifle Scopes Sightron SIII 1-7x24 experiences

The illumination on mine is no good in the daylight. Mine is not first focal. I'm thinking Sightron does custom reticles and knobs, so you might give them a call.

Rifle Scopes Vortex Viper PA - vs - HS Scope Which to Purchase

I wouldn't buy a scope with a v-plex reticle as listed on the 6-24x. The 6.5-20 is listed with a mil-dot reticle. Get something with a reticle you can measure impacts from the target, so you can dial corrections.

    My homemade security cabinet.

Looks great. Building your own stuff is not only fun, but you know you've got something of quality that way. Yea, all that detail and heavy plate is probably overkill, but fits right into the crowd around here. We understand:D

Results Rayners Long Range March 2014 match

That's likely a record for most ranges short of something big like a State Championship match of some sort. Good to see that much interest in the game. Who knows what will happen when the weather gets nicer.

    Tac Con Trigger

I played with one and after a couple hundred rounds decided to stop wasting ammo. Basically it helps you fire faster with a short reset, but you still have to move your finger very fast. The owner said he finally got it to work after a few hundred rounds. I put it in a 15/22 and it seemed to...
