    Re: Bolt action single to repeater The 40x action will lose its value by milling it. I dont think the Lawton 7500 action will lose much. I don't plan on selling the actions after the work is done. I will post the cost of the milling after the work is done.

    Re: 260 123amax VS 140.. Depending on the barrel. Some barrels are faster than others (same barrel manufacturer,twist and length.) Shooting the moly coated bullets does help. Bare bullets does raise the pressure. The heavies usually get around 2750 to 2850 fps. Moly might get you some gain...

    Re: Shot group at 600 yds The truck bed is not the best place to shoot. On some days in the freezing cold, I would shoot out of it to block the wind. The groups would not be as good but was a lot warmer. The ground is prefered.
